Soldering aviation connectors are generally used with aviation sockets and are now widely used in navigation, aerospace, aviation, defense, military, nuclear industry, electricity and other fields. The shell material is commonly made of magnesium and aluminum alloy, stainless steel, and is strong and durable.
The technical parameters of aviation connector plugs are usually divided into three categories:
Electrical performance: rated voltage, rated current, contact resistance, withstand voltage and insulation resistance, shielding performance, radio frequency anti-interference attenuation value.
Mechanical performance: contact number and pin hole arrangement, installation method and appearance, shell material, insulating material, contact performance, mechanical life, etc.
Environmental technical performance: working temperature, working altitude, vibration, impact, constant acceleration, sealing, salt spray resistance, moisture resistance, anti-mold performance, etc.
Connector: generally refers to the component that can quickly connect or disconnect cables and cable terminals;
Contact center distance: the center position of the contact element during installation;
Contact element: a conductive part that connects components or cables to provide a separable straight-through connection from cable to cable, cable to component, or component to component;
Socket: a negative contact element that can be mated with a positive contact element and is generally connected to the charged side of the circuit;
Pin: a positive contact element that is usually matched with a socket and is generally connected to the non-charged side of the circuit;
Plug: one of the two halves of the aviation connector when inserted, can move freely before being connected to the other half, and is generally regarded as the positive part of the connector;
Receptacle: usually the fixed or immobile half of the two-piece multi-contact connector, also refers to the half of the connector that is usually installed on the panel and has socket holes;
Contact resistance: the maximum allowable resistance of the pin and socket mounted on the aviation connector under typical operating conditions;
Insulation resistance: the resistance measured between any pair of contact points, conductors, or different combinations of grounding elements in the insulation material under specified conditions;
Contact arrangement;
Interchangeability;
Hot plug: plug or unplug the connector contact while in a charged state;
Termination;
Crimping;
Wrapping: a method of closely wrapping solid wires around square, rectangular, or V-shaped terminal blocks using a special automatic machine or manual tool;
Grid: two sets of parallel and equidistant orthogonal networks used for point positioning on a printed circuit board.
